the women weren't using hallways as toilets or other females as play toys...

A girls team had a similar situation this season with players getting alcohol/drug poisoning and no one got suspended. Good for CCSU for holding players accountable. Not all schools do.

Underage drinking? Schools let it slide ALL THE TIME. Something worse or illegal? Even that depends on who is involved and if the media ever gets wind of it. A star football player might be protected. Drunken soccer-frat boy party? Not so much.

i don't know where your kid goes to school, or what relationships you have with college coaches, but no, they don't let it slide "all the time"

well 'let it slide' is the MO at CCSU. I can't believe no one has written about this yet? Half the team is gone and there's like two subs

I’m also very surprised this story wasn’t picked up. The right thing to do on the university’s part would have simply been to own it and put out their own announcement. Big deal, players got in trouble, here’s why, here’s what we’ve done about it, done.
However you’re exaggerating with “Half the team is gone and there's like two subs” comment. It’s really not the hard to provide facts when you post.

                          Last 2 games:
                          15 played against QU
                          19 played against Hartford

                          Suspensions must be ending.

The school has had continual problems with parties and noise complaints. They would score some local points with the town showing that they're cracking down
