Yes. The article says that they did well enough in ECRL to be promoted to ECNL

Hence you are the only one reading the writing on the wall.

Next NJ team in ECNL is PDA Shore. They are the REAL shore.

This is just the first round of announcements. This was easy as these clubs were already ECRL. The next announcements will come later in the spring. Expect most of the good players in GAL clubs to leave for the nearest ECNL club (if it's driving distance).

The funny thing is the more clubs ECNL adds the less elite it becomes... the dilution of talent is already apparent...except for the very top ECNL clubs there is not a lot of distinction between EDP, GAL AND ECNL. Look at tournament scores when these teams play each other... games are usually pretty close between top edp, gal and ECNL teams.

We’ve already had a good number of GA club players at some training sessions showing serious interest....wonder why as they probably see the writing on the wall or perhaps they have some inside information.

ECNL is by far and beyond miles ahead in every way shape and form as compared to GAL. EDP teams blowout GAL teams if that tells you anything. Just check out Real, Philly Coppa etc both with daddy coaches no less.
They are ok coaches who keep the game stuck in the 90s.

Please re-read my previous post about the environment they created and they support. They are milking the system and keeping the game stuck in the doldrums.

With a literal monopoly on “the showcase circuit” which is the key payoff for playing soccer they don’t need to be challenged. Players come to them and replace home grown players every season.

Honestly the whole system needs to be exposed, how the heck can you be an existing D1 college coach and be able to coach recruiting age kids??? Isn’t that a recruiting violation? Don’t think football or basketball would ever allow that, why soccer??

Which GA club and which club are they showing interest in?

Rutgers Camden assistant coaches not good enough for ECNL?

No way ECNL can justify adding PDA Shore.

Are college coaches good at developing youth players? Not saying they aren't, but it's not a given that they are, tho.

                                - ECNL practices 2x a week
                                - ECNL does not have coaching certification requirements
                                - ECNL allows 26 players on a roster (+ unlimited movement between teams)

If you care about development in these circumstances:
                                - make sure you get real training outside of the club
                                - make sure your kid can deal with immense competition between players
                                - make sure you never ever cross paths with any of the coaching staff

If you are not aware of these or can’t handle these - get your kid out. It’s not a place where you get developed, or supported or nurtured. A dog eat dog kind of world.

I think ECNL/GA does require coaching certification requirements.
USYS club don’t. That is why they hire young college kids or dad coaches.
                                (Philly Copa/Real).
