Needed to get into it a bit with the parent and let them know....turf or grass you name the field. Thats why we play up in Superliga.
Why would your 2010 be in this situation? If she's playing in a "lower level" scrimmage to get some fun hero ball time, then it should be all good and fun. If it's just to be with friends, then pass the ball for God's sake. Who cares if they lose the ball? Will your daughter not be friends with them anymore if they lose the game?

I don't mind the Liverpool and Juventus emails, they charge much less than Bayside, and the training/experience for the player is the same at all 3 "clubs", without all the poop that comes along with Bayside. What has any of the Bayside teams accomplished in the last 5 years that gives them such a big head? They are the leaders of 100th division soccer, that's about it, LOL. Any parent that puts their daughter there is either not serious about soccer, or knows their kid can't make the top club teams, but wants a patch saying they play club soccer (which the 2nd reason would be ok to stay with Bayside, you will fit right in with their teams as they have 1 or 2 local hero players on every team, that dad wants them to be the big fish little pond type).

Since our teams can't leave RI to go to tournaments in MA, can RI host tournaments and bring people in this spring? It's getting boring playing the same teams, no offense.

Nah nothing will change until summer. Let's face it RI is stuck playing RI teams unless they venture to CT or NH. It's ok. We could be in worse shape like CA.
