Bingo. There’s the issue with youth Soccer. People bitch about clubs, coaches, and leagues yet at the end of the day they feed the system.

How do you know if your kid is #17? Do they give you numbers when you join?

No one on any of D's teams has ever had an issue with rosters with 18 players. Every kid rostered for every game, every kid gets at least 75% of the game. Do some kids get the whole game? Sure. But never less than 75%.

Consistent starter? 1-11. First off the bench and half a game? 12-16 10-15 min a half, if that, and sometimes never play? 17+

Sure...7 players play half of the first half and all of the second half. 7 players play all of the first half and half of the second half. The remaining 4 players play the whole game. In an 80 minute game, every player gets at least 120 minutes. 120 is 75% of 160.

The question though is why are they getting accepted now and not last year? Does ECNL want to crush GA? Does ECNL want to shorten the driving times and put more into the regional and national tournaments?

I think the ECNL announcements are done for the spring but there will probably be some more more movement this summer as the spring season wraps up.
