Why is this thread still even active weeks later. Get over it. It’s a D4 soccer team with a mediocre record in a crazy season. A lot of other teams also suffered different disruptions to their season. I’m sure the kids have moved on already. You should too.

A D4 team that has lost 3 years a row in the finals. Maybe they wanted to finally win one. Give them some slack jack.

Not an Epping or Newmarket parent.
Yes, a disrupted season but look at the NHIAA scores. Why is everyone tiptoeing around this? Except for 2 romps over a very small private catholic school, the Epping girls team lost all their games by margins of 4 to 8 goals including their loss to Newmarket. Newmarket won all their D4 games by similar spreads and were competitive with top teams from the higher divisions.
Epping AD: “We’re disappointed because we missed out on playing a game.”

Many divisions had strange outcomes. Just look at D1 girls. On any normal season Exeter girls probably play BG in the finals. Windham in the final was aptly reflected in the final score. In a normal season they are low seeded away team in the playoffs and an early knock off. Not a top seed with a bye and home field advantage. Kudos to them for making the most of it. The same could be said with D2 girls where the 2 best teams played in the semis as well resulting in a not so competitive final. It is what it is. Hard to call it a true state championship for anyone.

who Fing cares- 2 teams went in and 1 came out- isnt that how a tourney works, it doesnt matter the manner in which said team was sent packing

in a disrupted season losing the chance to play is probably a bigger deal than the result

Why do you bother - at this point the endless defensive justifications have worn thinner than your skin.
This entire, now 9 page, blog post is related directly to exactly that - "the manner in which said team was sent packing"

And as far as who cares, you seem to care very much
