South Korean President Moon Jae-in said Thursday that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will “soon” visit Seoul as part of a series of high-profile diplomatic efforts aimed at ridding North Korea of its nuclear weapons.

Mr. Moon said in a speech to parliament that a second North Korea-U.S. summit is also “near at hand” and that Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to visit North Korea soon. Mr. Moon also said he expects Mr. Kim to visit Russia soon and that Mr. Kim may meet with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

Mr. Moon has previously said that Mr. Kim told him he would visit Seoul within this year when the leaders met in Pyongyang, North Korea’s capital, in September.

South Korea’s presidential office said it had nothing to add to Mr. Moon’s speech about Mr. Kim’s trip. His comments were in line with previous statements, it said. They suggest that Mr. Moon is determined to push ahead with diplomacy to resolve the nuclear issue.

“Now, based on firm trust among one another, South and North Korea and the United States will achieve complete denuclearization and lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula,” Mr. Moon said. “This is an opportunity that has come like a miracle. It’s something that we should never miss.”

U.S. employers added a better-than-expected 250,000 jobs in October, soaring past expectations for an increase of 190,000 jobs in the last jobs report before the midterm elections and on the heels of an incredibly volatile month for the stock markets.

The unemployment rate remained at 3.7 percent, the lowest rate in nearly 50 years, while the labor force participation rate increased to 62.9 percent from 62.7 percent during the month. Average hourly earnings meanwhile rose by five cents to $27.30.

Analysts anticipated that unemployment would hold steady at 3.7 percent -- a 49-year low -- while forecasting the creation of 190,000 jobs, according to economists polled by Refinitiv (formerly Thomson Reuters). That level of job creation would have been a marked improvement over September, when the economy added a paltry 134,000 jobs

Seeing that so many people have jobs, with wages increasing, manageable inflation levels and with domestic oil production reaching all time highs , we’re doing just fine.

So much of those successes are due to the efforts of white men. But these types of issues are irrelevant to the lefty Progressives when their is drum beating for an agenda.

If something “‘ needs to be done” about white men, who will get these types of results?

            Also from that same article...

But Mr. Moon has faced growing outside skepticism over whether his engagement policy will eventually settle the nuclear standoff. Many conservatives in South Korea and the United States say North Korea has no intention of fully giving up its nuclear program and only wants to buy time to perfect its weapons.

Only in America can people who are not citizens and are not actually in the country sue the country for their rights being violated.
