Why didn't U. S. Soccer Girls DA make a rule that no GDA player can play high school soccer during the short winter rest period after the Showcase? It is like USS DA wants the girls to go play high school for a month.

Many schools play up to 25 games in their regular season to play other teams, high school tournaments for fun and so on but the district playoffs are what matter starting January 22. It is not fair to bring in ringers for the playoffs, and every coach should check the validity of the rosters of their opponents. The Florida high school athletic association must address every single complaint and the school must be able to prove its players did play in 10 regular season games to be eligible for the playoffs. Of course their name written on the roster and them sitting on the bench counts, but technically no GDA players were allowed to be on a high school roster until the GDA regular season ended, unless they gave up GDA and played the entire high school season like U.S.Soccer intended the exception to be. U.S. Soccer did not ever think their GDA players would be trying to jump on high school teams for a month during the GDA recovery/holiday break.

Because they don't care what happens outside of the DA season. No one does outside of a few lunatics like you.

GDA players joining the team late in the season fit the exact definition of a ringer. I don't know why you are denying that. They are not "returning players" if they never set foot on the field this season until now.

I'm guessing the "lunatics" at USSF might care if she blows off her academy responsibilities for a few weeks to play for her school. She won't care, of course, since you taught her she can do whatever she wants and the rules don't apply to her. Way to go, Daddy.

Players in this position have to choose between blowing off their commitment to US Soccer or turning their backs on their HS team. If they choose to break the rules and do both it's likely they will be kicked out of GDA.
What will you do, GDA Daddy, what will you do?

Exactly what punishment do you think this “ethical crime” is worth?
Let’s get a few things straight.
1. It is a game.
If you are thinking beyond that then as an adult you really need to step away as you are obviously over invested in the goings ons of teenage girls, who are only kids for very little time left.

The kid will go back to their club and all will go on as normal. The worst thing that might happen is the kid has to sit out a DA game or two. The same thing could happen with a Red card. That you seem so obsessed with limiting the opportunities of kids who you don’t know is sickening. And if the kid is suspended then what more do you want? Obviously playing in HS was worth the suspension and that should be the end of it.

If she continues through life with the overly-entitled attitude you have taught her, she's in for a lot more "limiting of her opportunities" in the future. Great parenting, GDA Daddy.
