ECNL is full of the “ B” teamers as well and kids who can’t make varsity at their respective HS.

I see many of these kids go from OYSA to ECNL or Thorns and end up riding the pine. They then quit and switch from Thorns to ECNL or vice versus and end up warming the bench again.

It fills rosters with members of the student body who are representing the School, with at least 95% of them never even thinking of playing in college.
Since it’s the last chance to play the sport in an organized recreational fashion, “It’s hard to get kids to give up high school.” Spot on.

Girls in Oregon are free to play recreational HS it's cheap and fun. Furthermore if parents can afford to cover the costs of playing local neighborhood 8-10 mos club soccer they can sign up for that as well. Very few can afford or entertain the notion of the travel club league platform offered at 2 of the area's local clubs, those girls are forced to give up state club league play. Which only further supports your edict, 'elite talents have to give up nothing', since they are not elite talents they can give up the state club leagues and they could give up HS as well with your logic.
Think much?

You’re also not very intelligent if you think HS soccer is any measure of a player.
