Not sure about Lake Highland, but they just lost to St. John's Country Day, and only beat Bishop Moore 1 - 0. So mostly beating up on the public school teams. I recall one of OC's younger ECNL teams mopping the field with them a couple of years ago. For a sports academy that trains year-round the results are not impressive at all. Their college placements are equally unimpressive.

Montverde girls team did scrimmage back in May, it was a mix of Orlando city’s girl ECNL team of younger girls, 02’s thru 00’s and the Orlando city’s ECNL team beat Montverde like 4 or 5 to 1.

Ok sima is the boys side which is ridiculously good. Girls side is also very good. The cost for mont verde/bishop Moore/lake highland is the same unless you are boarding.,. Montverde is better than the other two at soccer. The only one that might be better is the new windermere high school and their amazing coach.... not windermere prep but the public high school

Are you saying the girls DA is going to start training soon in west Orlando-Apopka at the Montverde campus?

The truly dedicated DA players will live on the Montverde campus and train more after morning classes.

That would be cool! This is what Pride excels at. Recruit, recruit, recruit. Underachieve, underachieve, underachieve. Montverde would probably fix the under achieve part. If OCP were not free, would you really still stay with them?

Montverde is OC’s way of reducing its budget and Montverde’s way of getting more enrollments.
