At least they have good, competitive teams though. AVSC are full of mediocre teams.

Mediocre seems to be an understatement!

Match results up to every other club out there (over time) and then you'll have some data to work with. Plucking standings out for one group/season is meaningless and if you are trying to make judgments based on that you likely have an agenda.
The facts are Abbey have by far the lowest level teams in NEP. Obviously its alarming for parents that most teams are playing in the bottom divisions and finishing last. What it shows is the majority of these teams are money grabs! Its a tired argument that they don't care about winning. Have you thought about maybe that the teams are just not very good, or the coaching is not very good?

I think it was a real risk that Abbey Villa took when they moved from Maple to NEP. They were probably hoping to attract better players with this move, since they could offer better competition in NEP than the Maple clubs, but at a lower cost than most NEP clubs. Unfortunately, so far, they haven't been able to attract these better players to be able to compete well against the NEP clubs.

Abbey Villa parents, who thought their kids were on very strong teams due to good results in Maple, are now finding out that there is a huge group of teams out there that are much stronger. For example, Boys u12 did very well in their Championship bracket in the fall, but there are 35 teams above them playing at the Premiership level. Any Abbey Villa parent who thinks their kid is one of the top players on the team is going to start questioning whether they should move clubs to play on a stronger team. If the club had stayed in Maple, these parents would be none the wiser and content with the club.

Lots of assumptions-parents may not care about the level, parents may very well not understand what’s out there, parents may be happy if their kid is happy. No AV doesn’t have very strong teams, but hey have paying customers and happy kids. Why can’t that be enough? If you don’t like that, AV isn’t the olace for you-just like it was never the place for my kids.

Lots of assumptions they have happy kids, especially from a parent not in the club.

"Paying customers and happy kids" like Chuck E. Cheese's. All the coaches they've lost over the last year says something.

How is a thread about this club near the top of this forum? NO ONE cares about Abby Villa, they are irrelevant in Massachusetts youth soccer and from the sounds of it have lost all their coaches! Guess they'll struggle even more then
