That's why they are in the qualifiers right ?

You think the US deserves to beat Honduras ? So much misguidance . US is an economic and military superpower . It's the equivalent of a tiny third world country when it comes to soccer . I think we as Americans need to have more realistic expectations.
Yes, the USA ranked #35 in the world should beat Honduras ranked #75 in the world. Not that difficult to comprehend. And Costa Rica at #26 is not a surprise win over the US.

If they win, it's an upset. If US beats any of the top soccer nations in the Americas it's an upset. They are the underdog... and they will be an underdog, second class soccer nation for a long time to come.

What a punk Dempsey is. Elbow he threw against CR was one of the cheapest shots I've seen. And it wasn't his first. Awful coach and scout. Embarrassing players.

          Go Honduras!

Brazil can manage because the majority of its talent is from the southern coast. So this time several of our small neighbors might just knock us out. Good for them! We have never been way better than them anyway.
so, if every soccer player moved to Texas, Cali, or Fla, we'd be better???
            Wow...
what if they all moved to central Mass?

Yeah, but in the rest of the world, they all live in the same neighborhood...

It would help some but the primary issue would remain that soccer is still not a top tier sport in the USA. BTW, the European National team players are all on some pro team and have plenty of $$$ and wherewithal to join the National team camp. Most of the best USA players are playing in Europe and need to cross the pond with a lot of time zones.

Hadn't realized that. JK had more Euro dudes, right? And I suspect most of our current Euro six are starters?

If this includes Rheam and Cameron, Europe can keep them.

Since MLS is the place for older has beens and those generally not good enough to play internationally, that makes a great deal of sense.

If Tim Ream gets one minute of playing time ever again, Arena should banned from US soccer eternally.

(Dempsey the elbow throwing punk also)

Yes it includes Ream and Cameron.

Cameron is clearly a starter. His play was impacted by Ream and the midfielders pushing to far up and not proving cover for back line. I don't worry about Cameron. They do need to replace Ream

In general the age of the MLS players has come down greatly. It's no longer an European retirement league that it once was

However, a lot of the aging USMNT players are now playing in the MLS (Howard, Bradley, Dempsey, Beasley, Wondo, and Rimando)

There's a lot of younger MLS talent too. Morris, Arriola, Hedges, Acosta, Roldan
