IF you want Freedom of the press - something our nation was founded on - you have to be willing to take the good with the bad. You can't tell people what is and isn't "real news"

Did you actually read the article you quoted, or did you just pull it out of your alt-right propaganda handbook? The article is actually about a non-profit called “First Draft” trying to tackle malicious hoaxes and inaccurate news reports. The goal was to “separate wheat from chaff, and prevent unproven conspiracy talk from figuring prominently in internet searches. To relegate today’s version of the alien baby story to a special internet oblivion”. Google was a major sponsor. Since Google also was a Hillary Clinton support, I suppose you will claim the whole effort was backed by liberals.

If you’re saying that only left-leaning enterprises are pushing for truth in reporting, I think I actually agree with you for once. The alt-right attacks anyone searching for the truth, because the truth contradicts their narrative. You attack the NYT, Wash Post, Snopes, and Politifact for the same reasons.
