To ecnl? Move to Atlanta? No , they will play where GDA is offered next year and that will most likely be OC.
Need every advantage possible to attract and keep top players. Its not like Atlanta GDA programs where everyone is technical, the programs recruit themselves, and the system is proven to develop talent.

I don't care if you're a rival, former player at the club, or hater of the coaches....this would be blow for girls soccer overall.
There needs to be a centralized team in the state with GDA. Having the team associated with the NWSL and partially funded helped recruit very talented players from as far as 2 hours away.
I don't care what damn jersey the teams have on...the top talent needs to consolidate and train and play together to reach their full potential and beat teams like top hat and Concorde consistently. I'm not saying OP had all the top talent, but there are many quality players across most age groups....definitely something to build on in next couple years.
Hoping leadership emerges....somewhere....but looking more and more unlikely, while clubs and parents bicker like 5 year olds. Seems like only thing that matters in the end is $$$$$ and egos.

I realize it depends on the age group club to club. A huge influx or transfer of talent would need to take place to FKK at this particular age group.

One thing to consider when jumping ship , GDA , even the weak teams have mostly talented quick players ... even the weak ones aren’t terrible... when u go down to an ecnl or below , your kid will be playing with some pretty good players and a lot of not so good ...
At the younger ages it’s cute to see a bad player running around like a chicken with no head , when your kid is 15 , 16 , not so much

The DA teams are not just last year's team with a new jersey. Sorry.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostThis generalized statement is not accurate. Different age groups saw more or less girls come into the DA depending. Both Boca and Weston had at least a few new players in each age group in the transition from Ecnl to Da. Plus some reshuffling of the existing teams. It only takes the addition of a couple strong players (keeper or cb or a '10' or a '9' ) to change the team significantly.
and am I crazy or why have I notified that the weakest player is usually put to play as the striker?
