Trump's defense team was caught with their pants down (they had to put out the fire first, LOL). The pressure to allow Bolton to testify is escalating quickly.

Here's the GOP conundrum with Bolton: if you let him testify a) there's the obvious risk of what he'll say but 2) how do can justify not calling other witnesses who were also in on the extortion plot - Rudy, Pompeo, Pence, Mulvaney? They can't. They either call all or none. Given the risks on what Bolton will say the GOP will punt the witness list and acquit.

^ :). Starr arguing that abuse of office isn't impeachable was the cherry on top of the defense's sh**pile, since that's exactly why he argued Clinton should have been impeached for. Sukolow claiming Giuliani played no substantive role? Does he never watch Fox news where Rudy brags about all the investigative work he did there? (which, btw, what makes Trump's personal attorney and investigator?).

Another whistle blower helps to torpedo Trump. Gold medal indeed. The book also discusses other ways in which Trump was directing foreign policy to benefit him.

At the end of his speech Starr might as well have said, "everything I did and said back in 1998 was completely wrong, but I'm absolutely on target at this moment, now that a Republican is on trial".

What a disgusting hypocrite. He should just go back to ignoring sexual assaults at Baylor University.

What has he even been doing since then? Practicing law? It sure seems like he forget a lot about being a lawyer since the Clinton days.
