    WFF had a fantastic weekend!
Finally someone who gets it! WFF showed their development was far superior this weekend. They represented Florida soccer well and showed why WFF is the top club in the state. It's nice to see someone else who understands this mate. The results never matter, it is always about development.

Well actually from a development standpoint WFF DA won all their games this weekend. Measuring the game from goals being scored or actual results is beneath WFF. WFF doesn't measure development from a trophy chasing mentality.

I am curious-what is the ultimate measure of a club's development?
The number of signings each year?
How many teams the club has per age group?

What is the measuring stick for a GDA/ECNL club?

These are the guidelines we were told to go by.

The U.S. Soccer Federation has gone through a nationwide Development Academy program restructure. The plan included a re-auditing of all the DA clubs for the 2019-2020 renewal, as well as, downsizing DA programs in conferences throughout the country. Our staff has been heavily involved in the process of providing all required Technical and Operational documentation required by the Development Academy, including attending various conference calls and meeting follow-ups during this process.

The criteria for renewal included but are not limited to:

              (1) Player pool and market

              (2) Player development effectiveness (YNT, NT, and pro player production)

              (3) Staff leadership, structure, and qualifications

              (4) Talent Development Philosophy

              (5) Training environment and personal development

              (6) Facilities and infrastructure

              (7) Staff and player respect

              (8) Resources, fees, scholarship, and financial assistance.

Recently, the US Soccer Club Development Manager visited our fields at JC Handly and stated that our staffing, developmental model, training environment and player development philosophy is one of the best in the country. This was a major factor to being awarded the renewal for 2019-2020 season. U.S. Soccer will continue to work with us to assure that we enhance criteria number one (1) Player pool and market. The new restructure of the Development Academy standard will emphasize the competitiveness of our player pool. As well as, not only a continual development of our own players but, of opposing players in terms of us providing them meaningful competition.

The criteria for renewal included but are not limited to:

                (1) Player pool and market-I would say that this is D- to an F. This is one of the items that WFF was told to shore up & the went out & got Celtic players.

                (2) Player development effectiveness (YNT, NT, and pro player production)-F, but realistically WFF is never going to have a national team player, neither is TBU.

                (3) Staff leadership, structure, and qualifications-F

                (4) Talent Development Philosophy-F

                (5) Training environment and personal development-D

                (6) Facilities and infrastructure-is there a grade less than F

                (7) Staff and player respect-C

                (8) Resources, fees, scholarship, and financial assistance-is there a grade less than F

47 G.A. in 10 games or 4.7 goals against per game? Do they teach any defense at Celtic and Braden River?

LOL the 06s beat IMG 3-0 and scored against tophat so they have 4 goals themselves. and they have the lone victory.

U17 playing TH to a 3-2 loss is pretty significant, imo.

                          The 04's & 02/01's are absolutely brutal.
It is unfortunate those girls have to be subjected to that, it is going to a very long season for those teams, particularly if they keep bringing those 04s up to help out the 03s.

I agree if that was TH's full team, that is a very surprising result for the 03s.
                            Showing promise.

This has nothing to do with Celtic or Braden River. Yoyo gets all the credit for these stellar performances.

TH has 3 x 2003 players at national team camp playing Sweden. That score will be 6 or 7 next time like the rest
