Please.... your schedule is a joke. You play 12 non D1 games.... you went 1-3 vs D1 competition last year and were one and done in districts....you may get into districts again based on such a weak schedule but you will be as much as a threat as a U11 team....

St. Johns will continue to struggle with the existing coach in place.

That is such a load of bull. Nothing happens over night and anyone who knows it was a disaster at SJH before he came in. They'll make playoffs this year.

Wishful thinking. It will continue to be a disaster until a proper coach is in place. Too bad, as they lose players as a result.
Admin doesn't care as long as football wins.

What happened you kid get cut the first day of tryouts or something? You obviously have a kid there – or did.…….I wouldn’t call their 2013 record (8-9-3) a disaster. Six of their nine losses were only one goal. A losing record yes, disaster…far from it. CMASS D1 teams that won 1 or 2 games last year are disasters. They consistently have one of if not the toughest schedule’s in CMASS every year. You are correct on that the athletic administration does not regard the soccer team in high regard. But what does that cost them? They still get the same as every other team in the area. If you have gripes about the coach then say them. Are they losing players because of the coach – name some. As for this year’s team, maybe .500 or slightly better. A couple good juniors and seniors that will have to carry the team. They had a very good group of freshman that came in last year that will move up and start to contribute on the varsity.

That record is a disaster for St. Johns. Holy Name has become more of a threat. The coach is entering his 3rd year and shows no sign of improving the program.
You want gripes: no system of play, players horribly out of position, no communication b/w the freshman, jv or varsity, terrible training.
I will not name players, but am personal friends with 2 families that will not be attending due to soccer. And there are some well connected alumni who have made the same decision.
Sorry if this offends you, but it is truth. No axe to grind.

Missed the schedule reference, but Holy Name, St Peter Marion and others do not make for the toughest foes.

Five games against St Johns Prep, Xavarian and BC High make up for it.
