Huh ? It’s just a large group of PDA players again. What has the Rutgers women’s team won with all of them in the past ? Nothing , a early exit at best in the NCAA tournament. Time for a new philosophy..

Yep! And your daughter is missing from the list!!! I’m sure she will help contribute to a major program’s dominance. Clown. Sweet dreams dad.

Huh? What part of getting players from the best academy in the country don’t you get? And yes RU is a major national program don’t be jealous now. In the meantime hope your MFA players enjoy Drew and TCNJ.

Now who is being sarcastic? PDA is riding it's past. It is very watered down now.

A handful of these girls could have gone anywhere, but chose Rutgers. Hats off to the coaching staff on convincing them they should stay.

Agree they are one of the top 5 recruiting classes in the country these fine young ladies could have gone anywhere, NC, Stanford, UVA, UCLA etc but chose Rutgers! Simple reason, one of the best coaching staffs and programs in the country with a continued pipeline to the best girls academy in the country.

Could they? Who knows. I do know that the best teams blend talents from all over the country/world. Not convinced its the best situation for players to have one College be the dominant recruiter, no matter how good you think that school or Club is. Players need to be challenged.

Well someone's never been outside the area. There are literally dozens of academies that are better than PDA. PDA has by far the weakest ECNL division with one of the largest recruiting areas on the east coast.

They could have gone to any college. Rutgers got lucky they are going there.

Im not convinced you actually know what the problem has been at Rutgers so just keep blabbing.

The only recruitment issue I see is that the girls are being hand groomed AND parents are being brainwashed by Mike at a young age.
Challenge issue is different. They are being coached by good coaches that have a specific system they have been using and specific tactics again from an early age as a result, they become predictable. System works in ECNL, but does not translate past that.

I don’t get the comment about the system not translating/working past ECNL??? ECNL is the best youth league in the world for girls and so if talent and tactics work there they should work anywhere. Why is the college game different and what league translates better according to your “expert” opinion?

Blabbing? Who is blabbing? College soccer is a relative game. Rutgers are at the bottom of the top level. They will stay there until they can actually attract top level players from all over the country. Given the academics, location and facilities, I dont see that happening any time soon. Competing and beating the top tier schools for talent is going to be hard for Rutgers. Especially if the perception is that local kids have the inside track.
