So will the current remaining BOD step down tonight before the club is a total washout? How do you save the club at this point as the major damage has already been inflicted? I know of a club that has been wanting those fields for years. They might finally get that wish.

Unfortunately, the only way to save this club is to overthrow the current regime. The only way you have a chance to do that is file formal charges through FYSA or through a General Election which the club has not had in three years. If they did have a General Election, it was never announced to the membership 60 days prior to the date of election. If you can find a way to unseat the current regime, then do your best to get JC back and give him the authority and tools he has never been given by the current BOD to move the club in the right direction. He was given that at Florida Revolution and the club grew. Just be prepared for the right direction to be a merger with WFF or TBU. That merger would be overall best for every child playing soccer at this doomed club. Good luck.
This during a game princess was losing. A few hours later JC was dismissed.

That was the only part that became a reality.

The VSC By-Laws state in paragraph 6.9.3.1 Cause for removal from office of any officer, director, or any other person delegated to represent VSC in any capacity shall include but not be limited to the following:
6.9.3.1.1 Actions contrary to the Articles of Incorporation, Rules and By-Laws of VSC.
I believe the entire BOD can be removed for failure to adhere to the club by-laws by not holding general elections or an Annual General Meeting as specified in the by-laws by 30 Sept, exceeding term limits of office, no general elections open to the club membership for three years, etc.

But they should have a copy at the meeting tonight if anything has changed. If you ask the BOD they have to provide. They also have to be on file with FYSA and Hillsborough County.

So we asked for the board to fill the two empty board positions and they refused. We can elect three new BOD members in the two month late general election that is 5 days after we can get our kids released and get a refund. And the three new board members doesn't include the president so essentially we have AN for another year. Probably a lawsuit or two coming. Multiple violations of the bylaws. A board that seems more interested in their own personal interests than that of the rest of the club.
I think that about covers it. Looking for a new place to go soon . . .
