That ended before Disney began. Our teammates that were there from our team were all at Disney. I heard Davie had u14 girls there but no u13 players.
Thought Davie u13 was good shocked they lost all three games.

Davie is a good team & not overrated.
It would appear as though the team did not play that well all weekend. It happens, these are 12-13 year old girls after all.
I am sure they will bounce back in State Cup, etc.

They are pretty good when they play West Pines kick off , Tampa Labor Day , Addidas Cup ect and play no competition.

Didn't get the results you wanted at Disney? This thread is fairly silent. I can guess which loud mouth clubs post here the most often..... Those that stunk it up at Disney. Wow. Did I see some terrible soccer or what.

Or we could just be happy for these 12 and 13 year old girls and enjoy the fact that they had a successful weekend.

These girls are only 12 & 13 yrs old and you should know that they can be one of the best teams in state but it just all depends on who shows up to play...Some teams have tournaments that they just don't perform there best. I do have to say that the girls teams in the U13 Showcase bracket all where very solid/ for the most part evenly matched teams. Of course there were a couple teams that really should have played in a lower bracket but maybe they wanted a challenge...

This is U13 and Disney provides excellent competition against out of state teams. It is good these players get to play outside competition as this is the start of this type of level for most of these players. Whether you won or lost, see the benefit in playing the top teams across the country. Gives everyone a realistic feel for where your team and our state is when playing the best teams in the country. Obviously Florida is behind right now which can be seen in the results. Congratulations to WFF for winning as any team from our state that does well should be applauded and not hit with insults about their league or club. It is a Florida team that did well whether you like them or not, be happy for the players as they represented our state well. The Arsenal team from California was clearly the class of the age group. This is still a tricky age group as athleticism and maturity plays a big role, just as it does at U11 & U12. So where Florida may not have got the results across the board at Disney, watching the Florida teams all look to be much more technical which will pay off in the long run. Right now bigger, faster and stronger teams looked to get results, how that changes as the players move into the older age groups remains to be seen. That was the beauty of watching the Arsenal team play, they had all the tools, size, athleticism, depth and played beautiful soccer. Everyone should be looking to reach their level and through hard work the Florida teams will. Good job Florida teams, see the benefit in playing the best of the best.
