Here we go again... PDP Central Florida, Oct. 3rd?

I think this was a farce. The clubs involved were just throwing a bone to their players they want to keep around next year to make them feel good. Nothing ever comes of these. The coaches involved had their own players there. Don't you think they already know the quality of their own players? Anyone else there that was any good was being recruited by ECNL teams. Ask yourself, was it about identifying talent or recruiting players to ECNL?

Only a few of these events held and players have not gone anywhere from them. It looked like mostly Florida Premier League and ECNL players attended. It may be a player and parent ego booster, a recruitment and retainment event for sure.

It is an event sponsored by US Club Soccer. FPL and ECNL are US Club Leagues. Numerous players have been called into market centers events and ID2 events. Was your child not called into the PDP event?

iD2 is the next step for the select few, and yes my child attended the camp in NJ in September. PDP is selective in who's invited, but id2 is extremely exclusive. There were 4 or 5 boys out of 60 and 5 or 6 girls out of 75 or so from Florida. It was an amazing experience!
