    This is a fantastic piece..

“When a player makes a game-changing mistake, how do you handle it? Your reaction can change everything, not just in that game or that season, but for a lifetime”

Powerful! The moments that impact us, negatively and positively. Coaches forget the power they have.
A quote to consider “an untrained coach is a form of abuse” .

This is obvious. When you make terrible coaching decisions that cost your team games you immediately blame the players in the post game press conferences.

      This was an easy question.

      Sincerely,

      Jurgen Klinsmann

All too often, you see ANGRY COACH screaming at his team.

Let`s change the phrase to UNEDUCATED. We have plenty of trained coaches, but only very few EDUCATED ones.

Good point. Trained in some of the mindset training. This book looks game changing and not only for soccer coaches and parents.

This would work if most youth soccer coaches were not retarded social misfits. Seriously. Has anyone ever met a coach with a solid head on his shoulders?

This is harsh but it is true that many of the coaches we allow to coach our kids come to coaching never having been parents, and with a chip on their shoulder from their own playing days of some sort or other, whether its a preference for a certain type of player, or dislike for a certain type of player, or just frustration that they didn't get as far as they thought they should have. But then some of them are really awesome as well. Parents just have to watch out for that detrimental coach and move their kids when needed. In my experience, often the coaches with the most problems coach the top teams. Just a fact.
