Its about time we give Lasalle coach the credit she deserves!

LaSalle victories are a joke, they should win. Do you really think your team works harder than anyone else? It is ridiculous!! There are teams with a lot less talent that are working 10x harder than you. Give it a rest already, the only people that care about your championships are your parents who are buying them!! Congrats Snowflakes!!

Let's not forget that as a private school they also get away with recruiting and no public oversight on things like there "summer camps" that doubles as early practices..and when you have the POY as well, it was pretty much a done deal

How about MY when he was with Bayview - the school had a couple good players but he had those teams overachieve.

No one recruits...that's a bogus statement. this coming from an lsa parent whose player will be moving on to collegiate play. also public schools have the same quality of players...they play on the same teams as bayside or pick another team. the focus really should be on the players....not the coaches. the credit is due to the players. any sport at private schools is the passion of the players...so screw you and your comments about private schools. best of luck to all schools next year.

Look at Smithfield, they have overachieved. Decent midfield, decent defense, no forwards and ok coaching staff.

This was the year for LaSalle to be beaten. They have not been as strong as they were in the past. OF is their strongest player and is returning. I think the class that is leaving is the weakest they have had. Coach did a great job keeping a team on point through the season.
Could have been a disaster with limited resources she had this year. They will be much stronger next year. I am sure they will repeat.

The only reason why kids go to La Salle is to win. LSA is not a good academic school, so there really is no other reason to go to LSA other than sports. There are different leagues they could go to, but it’s just convenient for them to stay in the RIIL where they can continue to beat public schools without much effort, to draw more kids who just want to win.

ok, that's right. They gave me 15k for 4 years (60k free). My other child 7.5 (cost only 30k) for a total for 4 years. What is going to be giving to me for my next child 3.75 (15k) for 4 years....jealous.

Wrong...this was to be the undefeated season. but didn't happen. OF was the biggest weakness fool. look where the goals came from...distributed goals among players and the total goals were from blow out games. gave up 7 goals including yesterday. mmmm where was the strength. stop speaking out of your ass.... another solid team (players/coaches).

The bigger issue is the disparate treatment of our girls programs in the state relative to the boys, whether public or private.....much less media coverage, public recognition at the games, etc.

It's the respective coaching associations to blame, not RIIL. If you've got a beef about this, contact the girls soccer coaches association.

The Girl's Soccer Coach's Association needs a new leader and reorganized. They have had the same leader for years and a big change is needed to bring it up to speed.

I am not a naive RIer. Most states don't allow this. Private schools play against other private or prep schools? Is that not an option in RI due to size of the state? Could they play in a like league in a nearby state? They are a great team and happy that they won, but it certainly diminishes the accomplishment when you start with a clear advantage.

Same story, different year. Time to get another story, like one in which LSA and privates play in a league comprised of their equals: other schools that pull (recruit) from everywhere and aren't restricted by town boundaries.

Undefeated...lol. Who is the fool? Without OF they are not a first place team and they are not winning the final. SK was the better team yesterday and unfortunately did not win.

Good midfield. Defense was shaky at best. Just not challenged because of strong play in the midfield and great finishing by OF up front. The girl can play, have to give her that.
