OW Tryouts in February

OW kids will most definitely replace some of FSA ECNL and NPL players. That's what all the talk is about. Coming from worried FSA parents.

Not replace, 2 or 3 per team will be simply added. No one from existing teams will be forced out. They will all continue to split time with the top 3-5 getting more than the rest.

The movement out of OW can only help FSA and less so CFC. FSA especially will add maybe 1 or 2 top players to their ECNL rosters. The rest of the talent will trickle down which will make their NPL team, and ultimately their State team better. The bottom players will get washed back to travel or into lax. I still think OW is the big loser in this venture.

FSA will get some players. CFC's new Bethany location is just too far from Glastonbury and towns east of the CT river. It's also a haul from Hartford and towns north. FSA is a pretty easy drive. Oakwood players are primarily from those areas.

Lets move tryouts back to mid-November. That'll stop kids from leaving for ECNL.

Yeah...the drive to Bethany is crazy...really....15 minutes further.
Never during the week a trip to Farmington sucks at rush hour.
