Its not about being a good guy it's about coaching quality. My kids' travel coach was a good guy too but couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag.

Different location but same story - HS coach is a premier coach and he "encourages" varsity players that aren't on other club teams to play at his club. I think he only has 1-2 on his own club team but it's definitely suspect. If you want your players to play club off HS season that's fine, but suggest your club along with others in an unbiased fashion.

DS is a good guy and coach. You parents are aholes

Not a good guy. Lots of complaints to AD. Girls turned off from playing at GHS because of his bad rep. No coaching skills - old kick and run doesn't work any more and has no clue how to train, utilize talent, etc. shoreline girls are horrible - play in Travel league but pay a fortune.
