JD will play subs before the half, and the start of second half. Subs usually play between 30-40 mins of an 80 min game. We lose games because of this subbing, and it drives us crazy to lose a game we should win, but despite all the negative press he gets, and the sideline antics, everyone plays a fair amount regardless of how big the game is. IDK if he imposes that on other coaches, but on his teams he does

I will bite.. parent of a player on one of these teams. Playing time is for the most part even with exception of defenders who play most of game. Training is very competitive all at Lancaster and all of girls are within 1:15 minutes most within 35 minutes. We have been very happy with coaching, most of parents get it and good camaraderie with the girls. Your best bet is to join a practice prior to tryouts.

Ok so a roster of 22 ,4 of them rarely get subbed included goalie so 18 players with ecnl sub rules .

18 field players. Multiple goalies listed on roster who have had to help during year. This can be confirmed on ECNL app under roster.

So how does the goalie time get divided up?

One starter who plays entire game. Backups have only filled in when started was injured or couldn’t make a tournament. They play with other teams.

What a bunch of crap. Not true. There are kids that don't see the field in certain games. They bring ringers sometimes to take some regulars playing time for winning sake. Who are you fooling?

NEP teams maybe different story but ECNL teams no ringers are being brought in off roster, just not true and ridiculous.

I know for last year, one of their ECNL teams brought in a few “guest” ringers to play in tournaments.
