Probably the 6 boys that were NT level when they came to the Revs and then stagnated.

They weren't the only ones who have stagnated

Haven’t you guys figured out that the 6 that are invited at younger ages is just the Bone US Soccer pays to their MLS franchise? As they tighten the group they fall off one by one.

In fairness there are many 14/15 year old one-and-dones. But the Revs consistently fail in the older ages, more so than other MLS clubs

Interesting, maybe they should go d3 and dominate against the nescac phony soccer-bots.

I agree. But they are one of the wealthiest clubs that doesn’t put kids on YNT consistently.

So if you are a parent of a u14/u15 kid and think that this is a ticket to YNT you are mistaken.
If you are outside territory and really think your kid has a shot you should wait until they are older and shop better MLS Academies.

They should have left. The gear is not that nice

If you are unable to move out of state for personal reasons you're not going to have many options. Only a few clubs have residency programs

I thought you couldn't even attend a residency program if your permanent residence (where your parents reside) is within the territory. Hopefully, the HG territory rule will become a thing of the past soon. Until then, it seems only fair that if a player is either cut from a Revs academy team, or attends a trial and is not invited to join the academy, the Revs should release the player from any HG restrictions. Why should they be able to control where a kid plays soccer if they are not willing to develop them?

Interesting, only one player from a Seacoast team that has beaten Revs both times they've played this year. YNT politics, I guess. Congrats to these boys, though, all great players that have worked very hard to get this far!

Politics and bias toward MLS teams. It's always been this way.

It is. And then those 6 Revs players won't be invited again.

Wink-wink MLS agreement that vaporizes by U16.
