Coaching girls is never considered the highest levels. The world class level of women's soccer it's about the same as decent u15Boys.
      1. ECNL
      2. OYSA FWRL
      3. Rec Leagues
      4. Oregon DA

Sorry it's not been a great set up.

That's a little harsh but the thorns did accept a bunch of girls that got cut from high school varsity teams so maybe it's not that harsh.

Not one club in Oregon has more than one team best in state. Not one.

The league argument is a joke considering every club would get their ass beat by someone else at a different age group.

Give me a break. Don’t list ecnl when fc poetland ecnl is a joke.

FC Portland ECNL 01 finished fourth place in OYSA premier. That’s impressive. Fourth place is better than sone teams.

He told board members that he will still finish the season until June 1st. He will then step away

Congratulations to him and wish him well. Hope he stays on at CU though. Even many head coaches also have positions in clubs.

National contenders don’t go to Florida ECNL Showcase and get embarrassed across all ages

Splitting time (driving) between Corvallis and Northwest Beaverton--difficult to serve 2 part time masters. All the best.

Unfortunate if he can’t stay on at CU. Well liked, successful and helpful.

Hate all you want but he was good at CU.

Anyone remember the club called fc Portland?

                        Yeah neither does anyone else.

He is not allowed to coach or any direct influence on a team that has athletes 100 or more miles away from his/her institution. That means Kevin cannot coach, instruct, or work with kids or teams thathave kids from the Vancouver area, Bend, East parts of Portland, etc.

He's out. He can keep his title and pay, but he can't help on the practice field or games. Tough reality

That's interesting considering that college coaches often coach club teams. Oregon has had at least one coach who coaches club teams and I can think of several D2 and D3 schools that do as well. Stanford's head coach coaches at least one club team. Is that an OSU policy or a CU policy?

What will that mean for players who play for him now and are verbally committed to OSU?

Doesn't effect D3. Only D1 and D2. They can coach club, as long as they are within the 100 mile radius if the institution.

                                This is an NCAA policy.
