No other team in the area even comes close to wcfc getting kids to the NTCs.

IMO clubs get/take too much credit for the development of individual players. However, a club can create an atmosphere that will foster the development of an individual player while at the same time keeping that player and teammates around them content and not looking for greener pastures. With that said, I think WC does an excellent job.

Yes, I agree, my daughter has played for NYSC, Match Fit, and Stallions, and WCFC is the best of the bunch, hands down...

Some of it becomes a matter of aggregation - high potential talent is attracted to a club that has a stronger track record than others.

Going to a club because they have a few more nt call-ups is foolish. You go because the club is a good fit for YOUR player. Much of a player's development is their own hard work. Clubs are also notorious for "claiming" players when the player was there for a very short time. It's all a gimmick. Don't be fooled by these silly claims (same with college placement claims - it doesn't reflect what your particular player needs or will experience, and may not be fact based).

Anyone that goes to a particular club to get their kid on a national team or pro team is a fool and deserves what they get. Not that wcfc is not a good choice for your player, but they are not putting your kid on the NT.

When a player gets old enough for such recognition, it will be clear that they are good enough to play at that level. At that point, they must be put at a club with the right pipeline to put them on the NT. It could be WCFC or one of the others with the proper connection.
