No, they don't. Honestly, their opinion is if a player is having so much angst about playing HS then they are not a player they would want in GDA. Honestly, they are much better off playing HS in this instance. And, I wish them well.
Really, then why so many prep school waivers? Are you sure about what you wrote? I dont think they care because I dont think they care .... plenty of checks flying in and the players are the least of the worries of the highly paid USSF cronies.

Based on the posts in here, it sounds like the players they want in the GDA are rich, dismissive, overbearing soccer snobs are who think they have talent. Unfortunately, thinking you have talent and having talent are two different things,

Been at this a while and the level of play in the GDA is underwhelming at best- and that goes for ECNL and HS as well. Watered down mess and the silly HS ban is just contributing to the problem.

the no HS rule has merit for the small fraction of players who have not or pro aspirations, the nation's truly top talent. But DA is far bigger than that and the vast majority of players will never be more than college level, some not even that. USSF cares more about market share than quality. Make DA much smaller so that it only for the nation's top talent, make it free for them, and leave the rest to work towards their college aspirations elsewhere. Let them play HS if they want, but they don't have to if they don't.

Remember if it wasn’t for the DA we would not be winning all these World Cups! You guys are missing the big picture, USSF is doing great things....especially on the men’s side. Lol

Not really...there's less than a handful of kids playing HS that are even close to NT player quality.

No clubs are leaving the ECNL for DA but plenty are asking out of DA for ECNL

Huh? that can be said about every single league out there including the GDA. You need to go watch more youth soccer. GDA level of play is not impressive. Sorry.

So true, the result of USSF caring more about market share than quality. Drastically reduce the league's size and quality improves. It should be a small exclusive boutique, not Walmart

Why would they do that? You had it right the first time - market share is the point.

The Girls DA is a joke. Northeast region is horrible.

Lots of clubs try to exploit players to get more business and maybe some families are dumb enough to fall for it. Most are not but there are always some suckers out there

Maddening to me that decent players get to where they are and then go elsewhere to a club that is not a better developer of talent but rather merely a better aggregator of talent .... Stop rewarding bad clubs and poor training people!

Supposedly OW wasn't fawning over her so....sometimes it isn't the clubs. Besides with NYCFC out where else does she go if unhappy with OW for whatever reason?

Players need to go where they can get their due “shine”. Why hate on someone for doing that?
Some clubs don’t provide an adequate spot light.
