People are always upset with 2 things: playing time and positioning. If your daughter doesn't start and play a lot no matter how good the team is parents go crazy. The weaker players leave. Top players won't be leaving anytime soon.

I will guarantee that Yankee and Arsenal U13 semi cup game will be a great one. Our Yankee camp has begged for this match up since this fall. No pressure on us whatsoever, and everything on Alistairs back as he try's to save his team from dismantling ( which already started)

Sorry YU haters but they have four teams in this year - U13, 14, 15 and 17. Not sure why no U12s other than the 8v8 issue (and why is there 8v8 for CT Cup but not State Cup?). The U16s team imploded last year with a number of losses to CFC and GCF.

I think (?) the YU U11s also play Monroe travel but didn't see them listed in CT Cup. Wonder why they aren't in? There is no U11 State Cup bracket so they can't play under the YU banner. That team has done well in CJSA play.

Too simplified. Weaker players leave only if they are getting bad playing time. This happens on some teams, but on other teams, even the weaker players get decent playing time. In addition, top players do leave teams regularly, because, in addition to playing time and position, people care about the level of the team they are on.

Maybe the Monroe u11s had one back when hey were still at Monroe. Even the famous u18 team hasn't had one. Arsenal U14 is not a great team and according to yankee play an unattractive brand of kick and chase soccer. So if you played them and won 1-0 then that must have been a real ugly game. Your team jamming it in to the only kid who can score on your team and her trying to run past the Arsenal defense as the rest of the team watches her and Arsenal defense kicking it as hard as they can to their forwards who cant hit the broadside of a barn.
