You mean the exact same staff that led to such great success in State Cup, FSPL, and SFUYSA? I could be wrong, but I think last year your best finish was one final four team (U15) in State Cup.
Seriously, I'm not a Weston basher but this statement was just stupid

You are so right ! And the years go by so fast . Forcing your kid to drop everything else to "develop" is borderline abuse. Playing and making lifelong friends is part of the process. Going to practice to "develop" 4-5 times a week with limited games against same teams over and over, not so much.

Come on sweetheart. You can't believe what you wrote.

And if you are really bragging about it, please at least get the acronym correct. E C N L.

DA season is ten months long. Clubs have to get their game and showcases in as scheduled. They can't afford to be down 5 key players when their opponents are down zero. USSF doesn't give a rat's azz about HS soccer or other sports and neither do DA clubs.
How do you think all those kids/players that gave up their HS experience to play DA felt when Klinsman brought in a bunch German Americans to play for the National Team (which he has every right to-welcome to pro sports)? Take look at where colleges are getting their players from (or just listen to all the international accents). It is a global game. You can still make it to the highest level in any sport without giving up your childhood. The system is flawed if any kid has to put all their eggs into one basket at such a young age.

Unfortunately I wish it was a joke.

yes the international component has left the station. few US players have what it takes to compete against that tide. one can easily make the case that after ten years DA hasn't done much to get us there. college rosters and playing time are proof of that. so then you do have to question if it's worth it.

let them play as much as possible, you only get better playing , learning skills, moves foot deception..... not robotic passing like we are currently "developing" girls
play against boys play against older girls, younger girls, JUST PLAY, that's how ALL other countries develop, not this BS "training" against your own team.

plus show me one player who prefers to train than to play a game

Yeah, look at the past accomplishments of GDA as some of the cited proof.

Oh wait . . . GDA hasn't kicked off yet!!! Good point there Retardo!

So is Weston relaxing their rules? I heard a couple of kids have already quit so they can play high school.

All it usually takes is a lawyer to say it wasn't in their initial player contract.

Doesn't even take a lawyer to figure that out.
