Your easy wins go away though as well: BU & Weston.
TBU will consistently beat FKK & FESA
It is not a cake walk to beat FKK and FESA without ECNL. Add in the players who leave OC and JFC because they can't all play GDA and FKK and FESA teams improve. It's the GDA effect.

The REAL disappointment is having to try and play these girls in our games. The level of play is an obivious drop off. In most of our games, we start out strong and are up at halftime- then the coach subs for a quarter or so and it makes a difference and we ende up losing. It's creating tension among the girls and it gets to a point that when these players are in, some aren't wanting to pass to them which isn't fair either😂 It's a hard spot for everyone to be in.
It's obvious that these kind of comments are coming from someone not on this team. This group of girls is tight knit and the coach has them moving in the right direction - getting better every week. As evidenced by the recent victory over Concorde and recent narrow loss to Tophat - the top 2 teams in this Division. If you look closely at how this coach manages his teams he spreads the minutes a lot the first half of the season and gives everyone a chance to prove themselves in different positions and different combinations. In the second half of the season he starts to lock things down into a more regular pattern with some very impressive results. He's done it the last 2 years, wait and see.

This post has to be from the dad that is constantly policing the pulse of parents on this team. It's annoying. We all understand your enthusiasm but you just got here. You know nothing. Open your eyes.

The fact that the coaches kid plays on the team has no effect on the team other than to give parents whose kids aren't playing a reason to bitch about. The coach was in charge of this age group prior to the birth year change. His kid was playing at a different age group, but had to go back to her age group because of the change. What is the club supposed to do? move the coach to a different age group because his kid can now play on his team? Forgo the knowledge the coach has of the players in his team and all the opposing teams he has been playing all along? That is ridiculous. Quit making an issue out of this, if your kid is not playing enough have her train harder and earn her spot on the field.

News flash. OC and JFC are keeping ECNL. FKK and FESA will get killed with their current teams.

Whoa. Hold on. If you think that's the issue your not following along or are kool aid drunk. We need a properly licensed coach who does not play favorites over ability especially on the back line. End of discussion.

And what level license is needed in your opinion? SS has a USSF National C and NSCAA Advanced National.

You do realize my lawn care guy can get a c license in a weekend. This is not rec soccer. It's ECNL. Lets at least act like our kids deserve better. Because they really do.

Oh really. Your lawn care guy...yeah right! Get a grip bud, these licenses are not easy to acquire. If they are so easy, then why dont you have yours?

There is also a year long waiting period to get your B after your C. You can't just go get these licenses in a weekend! Come back when you are educated on the process.

waiting a year does not make things difficult

You're missing the point. They are not easy to get and it takes at least 3 months to get any license, so your theory of your lawn care guy obtaining a C license in a weekend is garbage.

You obviously know nothing about the process to acquire these certs/licenses.

Here's a link so you aren't so ignorant.

I sure hope this is the end of the discussion. I'll say it again, despite that fact that you keep using the words "we" and "us", I am almost certain that you are not with this team and are just stirring the sh*t because one of the following a) your kid got cut from this team, b) your kid couldn't make the team, c) your kid was on the team and you left because your ego got bruised. If your kid really is on this team, maybe you and her would be happier if you requested to be rostered on one of the many teams in this age group at the club, where she would get more minutes.

This is a great group of players, parents and coach. If you're so unhappy, vote with your feet instead of whining on a public forum.

Just my two cents on the subject...... Not with the club but...... daddy coaches should not be allowed at this level. It is a no win for daddy coach, club, daughter and team.

This may be embarrassing for you but here it goes. If you had done a little homework you would realize that US soccer just changed the licensing this year to make it more difficult to acquire even a lowly c license. See the the link attached which is an article on S I.com about this before this recent change. As you can get to see prior to this change one could get a c license by just attending a weekend course. Enjoy the daddy coach. We did for awhile.

be careful what you ask for because there are so many quality coaches lined up around the corner ready to coach youth soccer.
