FSPL teams have gone through at least 5 games and GotSoccer has yet to award points for wins and ties. Anyone know when these points are typically awarded?

They award points when the league is over. It ends in February.
Every year it is done this way. Points are not awarded till then.
you may get a "match win for 30, or 60" but that is all.

Points will appear at some point during the season. This was discussed last year. The league administrator may have to do something.

You'll get the points eventually. What's the big deal?

Consider:
1) You may not receive points for tournament championships depending on the tournament.
2) You may not receive points for victories over significantly higher teams during play in certain leagues like CDL.
3) Beat these same teams in a tournament GotSoccer likes and you get points.
4) If you are playing in a tournament GotSOccer likes you may actually get points for beating or even tying a LOWER ranked team (I have specific examples of this).
What is going on here? GotSoccer is basing everything off of the venue - where the game is played - rather than the teams playing the game. Maybe this is how they can direct traffic to certain tournaments, and maybe that is somehow part of their business model.
If so, would be disappointing but not surprising.
There used to be much better rankings like this: http://youthsoccerrankings.us/ but as you can read if you go to that link they cannot provide rankings until later in the year due to the birth year changes and inability to use performance from last year (all the teams this year are considered completely new).

You don't get paid based on GS rankings, do you? That would be bizarre.
