I hear you, but it still seems odd. If there was any truth to that original rumor, I suspect that he would not have been just fired. These days, schools get in a ton of trouble if they don't report such cases of statutory rape. At the same time, if the same behavior continues to be reported, then either he is a guy that regularly puts himself in really bad situations of flirtation and contemplation, or he really does have a problem.

Sounds like he's had a reputation for awhile so maybe this new accusation is legit. But how about letting the law handle his innocence or guilt rather than a chat board? If it turns out to be total bullsh** (again, maybe not in this instance with prior allegations) his life will still suck - the rumors and internet stories will follow him forever.

That discussion is not about whether you should be a 'good' parent and check-in on your kid.
Its about how you act when on the sideline at practice.

Also, going to the practice, and watching your kid is COMPLETELY different than letting your kid get picked up by a coach for a private session and be alone with that coach.

By all means, go to the practice. But stop screaming and being a distraction. This is the main point of THAT thread.

Parents like you use THIS thread as a reason to sit on the coaches sideline an blurt out directions to your kid.
