Originally posted by Unregistered View PostMany have been saying that. It took DA years to realize that getting kids at U14+ and often older means years of lost training opportunities and only just now have started the boys that young. GDA should have started with a U12-14 focus to develop the talent at a younger age and train them the way you want, then build from there. Getting them into the system at a younger age also means there will less of a pull for HS when it comes time. If also means flushing out the HS girls currently in the recruiting process or already recruited can continue without having to make difficult and unnecessary choices.

There is no ECNL in South Florida. Girls there have no choice but to go to DA. Unless you want to travel all the way up to FKK or Jax

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostI was speaking in generalities not area specifics. GDA and ECNL will have their own pockets for strengths and weaknesses. But that means that nationally neither will be the clear winner. Both will be diluted but both will offer players choices to help them reach their final destination - college.
