CSA has constant ID sessions now. Contact the club nearest you and sign up. They will have you practice with the team and likely find a spot at your kid's level.

you can go there, but just understand that CSA doesn't care about the younger girls (pre-da and below). Also, avoid Ryan Tetro at all costs.

Why because his team is best team around and win state cup or because your daughter is not good enough to play there

We both know it’s the latter

Not the original poster, but my kid played for him a few years ago and we left after a year. He's a salesman and not a good coach. He's good at making promises and attracting talent, but not good at development or telling the truth. His practices are mostly just scrimmages. As soon as the next kid comes along, your kid will play less to make the new parent happy. No one is immune regardless of talent. Yes he had a state cup win, but the best team in the state (PDA) didn't even enter the tournament. Play for him if you want, but don't cry if he gets a new kid that causes yours to sit.

Not good at development or telling the truth seems to be a common ingredient amongst many academies, CSA included. It’s just the way of doing business these days. Get used to it, accept it and even embrace it.

Seriously. There is no money in development or truth telling.

Salesman and not good coach also seem to be academy mission statements for some...for the life of me why don’t these people put more genuine care and effort into it???? Should be a job they love and enjoy and getting kids to also grow develop and love the game should be at the top of the list. Sad that these types of coaches are much more the exception rather than the rule these days. Most are simply collecting a paycheck....

Isn’t being challenged part of Development? Red Bull’s on the boys side are known to just scrimmage, play games, maximize intensity of competition and create a survival of the fittest mentality. Training and competing with the best is part of development. If your daughter can’t hack it then just own it.

That’s a good one comparing Red Bulls on the chaps side with the CSA ladies....no comparison mate, the programs are worlds apart in terms of structure, quality and intensity....

Sounds like someone who doesn't understand development. Has your kid even played for RB? They actually train and develop their roster, even the kids at the bottom. They understand that kid at the end of the roster could be the best kid in a year given the right training and opportunity.

RT is good at replacing the kid at the end of the roster with the next kid up that he faced on another team after promising the world to the parents. Winning like this doesn't make you a good coach just a good salesman. Enjoy yourself on his team until he finds your kids replacement.
