It honestly cracks me up when you guys post things like this. Do you stay awake at night feeling guilty about all the trouble you have caused and then come on here and post those same guilty things towards OCYS? I shake my head at how dumb some of you are. I agree that the original KK business model was club-hopping when it left CFU for FSA and FSA for WESA. But after that you can't call it club hopping just because a series of mergers occurred.

Krush Kraze as a seperate club ceased in 2011 when it merged with CFK. CFK ceased to exist in 2012 when it was aquired by OCYS. The logo and uniform are irrelevant.

They didn't recruit AH to run ECNL. AH wants to be part of the MLS organization. That's no secret and this is just his first step in that direction. He doesn't give a crap about ECNL aside from trying to save whatever he can of the girls program up there. As soon as the MLS deal is done, win or lose, he will move on to another position.

I had heard good things about him as a coach at FCA. I don't know him personally at all. I had assumed that he was a "specialist" in girls' soccer- somewhat like HM himself specializes or focuses.

So you don't think he'd have a big issue moving to another role if OCYS partners with FKK to run ECNL?

Okay- you don't understand my perspective, and I accept that.

For my part, I disagree with your premise that HM "failed to do his job". That's certainly what OC says about him, but that doesn't make it true. I believe that interference from the Directors impeded him- that he was hired to run the ECNL program and yet they breached their agreement with him by removing resources and interfering with his management.

I think the objective evidence is on HM's side:

-He was the leader who brought ECNL with him from CFK.
-ECNL has been a disaster this year, even worse since HM left
-The League has forbidden OC to proceed with tryouts.
-The league obviously is dissatisfied with OC and is encouraging them to compromise with HM and FKK.

I understand your perspective, but every manager has to deal with limited resources and interference from upper management. Good managers make it work, bad managers blame upper management and get fired.

The facts as I see it as an outsider (no child at OCYS but considering going there):
- Buddy had a family issue, left and he tried to cover, kept paying him, and got crappy coach replacements
- failed to live up to his dir of operations responsibilities because he felt they were beneath him
- didn't get along with younger manager put over him
- disagreed with AH over tactics and formation - and got in verbal shouting matches with him - failed to logically defend his views but tried to use "I know best" with upper management and his boss

All these things are stuff that will get you fired from any job. Good middle managers appeal to reason, provide documentation, and in the end implement what they are told to do the best way possible - throwing in their own adjustments - and if they are successful they move up

Frankly, it looks to me like (1) OCYS didn't trust him so they put him in a position where they could evaluate his performance and loyalty to the organization as Dir Operations and (2) he was unwilling to accept anything but Exec Dir. In the end he showed he was not loyal, could not deal with the imposition of pay as you go (thus no SSP for the youth since it couldn't be paid for with present cash flow), etc.

OCYS/board made other mistakes along the way too - as all large organizations do. And those have been covered ad nauseum.

Has anyone dealt with coach Bobby Sauer before ? He is coaching U12B top team and we would like to have some feedback before we go to the tryout . Please, I know this is a public forum , so please limit the bashing. If you have any positive feedback please let us know. Thanks in advance.

Umm no. I would much rather an unbiased club run ECNL than one single dictator who has shown self interest over good of the game. OC should run ECNL just as it does the DA. That seems to be working just fine because the Rush people are not working against OC.

You really have a personal axe to grind with HM- that's obvious. He's been undeniably successful in bringing the damn program to Florida in the first place- not your English Laddies who parachuted in and screwed it all up.

You have it backwards- the Laddies are the "dictators" and nobody at Rush has the balls to tell 'em to go stuff it as HM did with ECNL. It's all about perception and what side you believe in.

Seems as though the ECNL league have voted for Darth Jamaica. If they want to keep the league- they gotta play ball.

AH cares about the kids he coaches. Of course he has career goals, but sees the best way to get there is to do his job and to do it well. That he does and as a bonus doesn't play politics. He is an excellent coach and person.

We have been to ECNL/FPL tryouts this week and it has been well run. The place is packed and they run two sessions a night. Check-in was less than 5 minutes. Fields were well marked and the coaches are professional. They do not come over to the sidelines and chat up the parents which explains why so many parents feel they are not getting enough communication. I do get daily emails telling where to be, what time to have my kid there and how long she will be there. Honestly, what more info do you need until you know if your kid made the team?

My favorite part are the signs that say "Players and Coaches Only". After a few nights, I could definitely see why the signs are needed. This group of sideline parents are so involved in everyone else's business. It is literally like having a live version of TS. The gossip about FCA fields, FKK, who was coaching, who was moving...even rumors about the players. What are you doing? Handicapping try-outs?

People, these are little girls playing a game. Why are so obsessed with all this gossip? Whatever happened to feeling good about your daughter doing something healthy that builds confidence? Would you rather she be like all the other girls her age and be spending all her time in front of a mirror crying over all her imperfections?

Lighten up and get a life.

BS is one of the more pleasant and talented coaches that we have dealt with in Central Florida. He works perfectly at that age level.

I shake my head at how dumb some of the kool aide drinkers are. If you sleep better at night knowing that OCYS will take care of you and all the worlds soccer problems, so be it ....sweet dreams. I'ts amazing to me that these people that basically BEGGED OCYS to merge with them after the FSA/OCYS agreement - now are unhappy they lost control of club that resulted from the merger.

OCYS's big mistake was agreeing to that merger.

Now all these parents want to blame OCYS for failures while CFK employees were undermining the organization for a year - and creating many of the problems they now blame on OCYS.

I know its too much to ask but they all ought to reread what was posted in the fall 2011 and winter 2012 ....

Got it from my kid. They told her one team would be ECNL and one team would be FPL. I don't talk to the coaches, trainers, administrators or kids driving golf carts around the fields. When they need something, they will let me know. Honestly, I don't care if I ever meet the coach unless he wants to talk about anything but my kid playing soccer.
