I'm sure it wasn't his choice. Crazy parents have a way of robbing their children of memories.

How many of those 250 kids are on the roster of the top NEFC team or the GPS Bulldogs? Do those clubs carry 75 people on their rosters? Why don't teams in their area like CSU, GPS Crusaders and Scorpions count at these ages? These kids were good enough to displace other kids from those teams that had played with these big, special clubs their whole lives. Why didn't these big clubs train their kids better than Weymouth did? It sounds like Weymouth may have rained on your parade in the past.
Lots of Weymouth players playing lots of club soccer. I think they'll be fine. Those Weymouth "club" teams are getting stronger also. The future looks awfully bright.

Will Natick be that good? Top 2 scorers are graduating?

Goalkeeper is the last place I'd want an inferior player started if a better player is available. The rest of the team should be pissed.

The goalkeeper in question is not 'weak'....he just is not the best.

So you're saying he's "inferior" to the other available keeper?

Braintree could be the sleeper - very good freshman and sophomore classes

Freshman? We're talking varsity soccer here. If any of those mediocre CFC kids make varsity then Braintree will be a non-factor.

Among the big schools, Braintree is one of several (Brookline, Framingham, Weymouth) that could come in 2d. Assumes Needham will be 1st, and Newton North can't rise all the way to 2d (but won't necessarily trail all the others).
Similar among the smaller schools: favor Natick, but 2d could be Milton, Walpole or Wellesley. Dedham might leave Norwood trailing.

You can have the trophy as long as I don't have to move out to the boonies. I'm no fan of outhouses.

Summer league and captain practices have begun. Any word of unexpected player gains or losses?

Needham is strong but did not appear to have a goalie.
Wellesley will be solid but the coaching change may not be in their favor
Brookline will be good, but may lack offense.

Did the MPS coach leave Wellesley already???
