It’s the GPS way, you can’t decelop them at a young age, recruit recruit recruit. Only difference is, 2004 girls still have a lot of development left they need but they won’t get it now. You should have waited a year or two. Now they’ll be stuck.

Last thing is you said NPL. You’ve had this for how long? A year? What about last 5 years you’ve been doing this. Just own it. Don’t try to spin it now...
DF 2000 group has every single Senior signed to play at College. 6 of which he has had for more than 3 years.

And the top 2000 in the area he has had since she was 11 years old. Development of his players are what brings so many others to him year after year after year! Should he turn them away when they want to leave their crappy club to come to him at tryouts?

    Facts are fun.

Bonita/Azzurri has 40+ professional coaches for the new season and looking forward to picking up the pieces from Strikes, San Carlos, Fire and GPS. Thank you JD and Orlando City. We made the right decision 2 years ago and look forward to the exciting years ahead.

So because they don't speak with a British or German accent they aren't professional. That's the ignorance you're passing along to your child or Club?

Azzurri has grown over the past 2 years for the better. Fire take everyone that can walk with a ball at their feet and even those that can't. GPS poaches from everyone in SWFL, but the days of getting full teams and keeping current GPS teams intact is done. Biggest issue is GPS and Fire have no recreation program. Azzurri/OC will be strongest overall Club in 4 years or sooner in SWFL, so make friends with the Godfather.

              Email from Club

I'm a cape parent and we received an email basically telling us not to try out at any other club...not sure how I feel about that.

Interesting. How do they monitor this? What about age groups that have two teams and kids want to cover their bases if they do not make the A team?

It is said that there are people who want to make the Fire there little kingdom. It has been said that it was this way since the beginning when most of the resources went to a few regardless of talent of coaching or playing. This is why they lost the two best teams they ever had a few years back.

The question is how long will it take for coaches who are not in that little kingdom to leave. The best veteran coaches on Azzurri already done that when they saw the Fire waste the Sharks money reserve. Copy and paste those financial records if this is wrong and tell me your reason why two of the best teams the Fire ever had, that started as Sharks, left for GPS.

At the end of the decade, the two major clubs of SWF will be GPS in the North of Southwest Florida and Azzurri in the South.

Just have to say, my kid has been playing soccer in SW Florida for several years at the highest levels possible in the area (leave it alone trolls) and I don't even know what azzurri is.

You go online and find the financial records. You want me to do your digging for you? You are the one making accusations. Go prove them. Moron JD. Low life going on TS with parents and trying to disguise yourself as one.

So you’re saying that he’s coached this age group since U11? Just because she was in the club doesn’t mean it’s been since U11.

How many seniors signed from his team? Is that posted on website? How many juniors are verbally committed?

Two best teams? I think they had a girls team that was pretty good a couple years ago.

DF has had that team since U12 yes.

I'm not sure of the number of Seniors graduating to College from his team but it's high. Maybe even all of them
