Nycfc / man City summer camps

Any experiences positive or negative? Seems a bit costlier than other camps.

My son went to a winter camp for NYCFC ... training is better at the Centers of Excellence ... I didn't feel like the coaches who were running it were the best and or help my son get any better ... and finally they had a tournament at St. Johns at the end where they had teams from each region play against each other. I thought this was poorly run and a let down.

COE has turned into a money grab. Every kid gets in.

Partially true. It depends on the location of the tryouts. A low attendance at any tryout location will give you a good shot at being accepted.

To costly for what is being offered. Training could be better.

Agreed. COE is good training but very expensive compared to quality winter training
