DPL is about to give Gardens a huge edge on the girls side. Jupiter will struggle, who even bothers with super-Y these days? That was a major selling point for Jupiter to try get girls over this summer, worked? Don’t think so

A lot of the BS I read on here is because 1 kid is unhappy with their current club, wants to make a switch but realizes that if they don't bring a bunch of their teammates over the team they might be going to will probably suck worse than their existing team! While a license is great, some kids could get a better experience or development from a coach without a higher level license. Both programs have their positives and negatives, you just need to find the one that suits your kid and situation the best. If at the end of the day it means your kid has to play with a bunch of unproven girls, so be it!

If your kid is not good enough to play DA or ECNL now, do you really think the club that you have been with for the last several seasons all of a sudden has some magic plan to make your kid better because there is a new league? That's just silly. Most of these players have been at Gardens since U10. Why are they not ready for DA or ECNL today??? Gardens has the same coaches they have had for a few years. If they couldn't get your kid ready for the next level in the last 4-5 years you've been there, what makes you think a new league is going to change that?
Putting kids where they don’t belong does not benefit them or the ones that do belong.

It is very possible that there are some talented kids but are not mentally ready for the next step and commitment?
