Now many of the better GDA clubs have or will be returning to ECNL. Supposedly Real Colorado is out and a few others will announce after the showcase. USSF's response is to add more weak clubs to fill geographic holes. So more upheaval and uncertainty for players.
Also agreed. You make too much sense.

        Good lord

Every day all day we hear how GDA sucks and has no good teams and you name it. It’s a non-factor in this Region

Now these same shltty teams and crap organization is to blame for ECNL running rampant

        Get a grip

Confused is this a thread about Stars and ECNL league NPL league or NEP NPL. The NEP NPL league got watered down some with the creation of the new pre-DA league but only for 07/08 little kids other than that business as usual in my humble opinion. So basically for NEP NPL the only age group impacted by new Pre-DA league is u13.

Only SSS is any good in NEP NPL. One team. Maybe Bayside in a few age groups. GPS Red? Joke. Seacoast NPL? Joke. Oakwood, NEFC, Aztecs, Yankee? Such a joke. Those teams would not compete with most Northeast NPL teams.
Some of NEFC NPL teams are very strong. Routinely beat other clubs NPL teams (which are their first team) and many ECNL teams. This is because not all of NEFC’s top players have chosen to play DA.

And NEP NPL won't have the top SSS teams moving forward for U14 and above... they will be in GDA

Agreed... the GDA rules cause some top players to stay away. When Stars had both, many of their top players wanted to stay in ECNL

NEFC and Seacoast similar result with top players. SSS could run into the same.

Problem with rules was more evident at older ages where kids were already down a path.

Not seen as much at U14-15 ages as would be expected.

It’s a lot of work for players and Clubs. Not all want to put the time in, especially for the Clubs who can just double-down into their own league

Just looking at the GDA standings, looks like NEFC is doing just fine without the girls who opted out in order to play high school. U15s-2nd, U16/17s-1st, U18/19-1st. Maybe SSS will be similar? Tougher for Seacoast, less depth due to a less populated region.

That's good to hear. Maybe they can have it both ways. All those teams are doing ok in the NEP too.

Yes, although the sample is small so far, all the NEFC NPL teams from U14 and older are undefeated as a group, with only one draw.

HMMM? The majority of spring season is with kids that played HS (waivers). Plus there is no one team good in the NE didvison.

Both NPL and DA are weak. Nothing to brag about.
