Not sure what you trying to say.
Guess we are talking past each other then.

So top clubs are leaving GDa. As long as there are still clubs in there it will be fine. Nobody care if they aren’t the best. It’s just another league. No biggie.

Given the standard of the US club Present day it's really unfortunate any parent would have to pay thousands in travel to go play teams that resemble those within 20 miles of their front porch.

and it isn't of much help if a team or club from Washington joins and the results are 5 to 6 goal thrashings of the Oregon clubs not sure how that helps the kids either.

        It's truly an unfortunate narrative.
Not sure what you mean by 70 of the best clubs are in DA.

Slammers, PDA, Michigan Hawks, Eclipse, Stars of Mass, and Crossfire are all top 10 clubs nationally on the girls side.

There is supposed to be 4 more clubs making similar announcements these next few weeks. Surf? SoCal Blues? Colorado Real??

You know the truth, but you can keep pretending that Cedar Stars Academy, NJ Rush, Select Mass, and Albion SC (Las Vegas) are top national caliber clubs.

Not much to squawk about here.
XF Premier is not the only top club that has left in the last 2 years and wont be the last to leave before next season.

XF was also a major factor in the NW Conference and losing them is a big deal.

Have you taken a look at the new clubs joining DA lately?

To the core that's the only staple here.
How about they gave DA a try on the girl's side a try because they have DA on the boy's side.

The players and family were unhappy with the DA. Crossfire did the right thing and went all in for ECNL rather than splitting the club.

Similar to the argument that we have in Oregon about having too many "elite" team and splitting the talent. It makes even less sense to split the talent at the club level in addition to costing more.

You tried it and it didn't work out. Why stick to a sinking ship if you know it is sinking?

XF did the right thing and went with what the families wanted.

All true, but the talent stranglehold XP once had in Seattle is lost with other Seattle clubs now also in ECNL. Doubtful XP will be as dominant in NW as they once were.

Yeh, lots of people are arguing against ECNL over-expanding, but expansion in Seattle may have been one of the smartest plays ECNL made (that and forcing many clubs to choose last year). SU and PacNW allowed girls to practice closer to home and still be part of a national league.

As long as they continue to subsidize ECNL, they will continue to dominate the NW. No other club comes close to offering any type of monetary value to their teams at the top.

The ECNL vs DA results at Silverlakes proves you wrong.

Ecnl is geared to get girls recruited to college. 99.99% of girls end game/goal is college soccer. GDA’s mission is to find the next national team players. GDA is geared for the unicorns - less than .01% of players. The vast majority who sign up and play GDA are practice cones. There’s nothing wrong with that it’s just that’s how it is and so ecnl is much more appealing to most top players and all not top players.

It looks like it will free to play if you are good enough to make XP ECNL.

Why would you go to another ECNL club in the Seattle area?

                          Brilliant move by XP.

There is only ONE top national level club that plays in the NW conference for either ECNL or DA. Take a look at the NW conference for both leagues.

That club just announced they are “all in” for ECNL.

And yet USYNT is scouting ECNL just like they are GDA. There is no value proposition for DA that puts it over ECNL in any way.
