So top clubs are leaving GDa. As long as there are still clubs in there it will be fine. Nobody care if they aren’t the best. It’s just another league. No biggie.

Given the standard of the US club Present day it's really unfortunate any parent would have to pay thousands in travel to go play teams that resemble those within 20 miles of their front porch.
and it isn't of much help if a team or club from Washington joins and the results are 5 to 6 goal thrashings of the Oregon clubs not sure how that helps the kids either.
It's truly an unfortunate narrative.
Slammers, PDA, Michigan Hawks, Eclipse, Stars of Mass, and Crossfire are all top 10 clubs nationally on the girls side.
There is supposed to be 4 more clubs making similar announcements these next few weeks. Surf? SoCal Blues? Colorado Real??
You know the truth, but you can keep pretending that Cedar Stars Academy, NJ Rush, Select Mass, and Albion SC (Las Vegas) are top national caliber clubs.

Not much to squawk about here.
XF was also a major factor in the NW Conference and losing them is a big deal.
Have you taken a look at the new clubs joining DA lately?

Flip-Floppers
To the core that's the only staple here.
The players and family were unhappy with the DA. Crossfire did the right thing and went all in for ECNL rather than splitting the club.
Similar to the argument that we have in Oregon about having too many "elite" team and splitting the talent. It makes even less sense to split the talent at the club level in addition to costing more.
You tried it and it didn't work out. Why stick to a sinking ship if you know it is sinking?
XF did the right thing and went with what the families wanted.

Why would you go to another ECNL club in the Seattle area?
Brilliant move by XP.

GDA is geared for the unicorns - less than .01% of players. The vast majority who sign up and play GDA are practice cones. There’s nothing wrong with that it’s just that’s how it is and so ecnl is much more appealing to most top players and all not top players.
