My D says it sucked.
Here is why.
Schedule was changed so could not play “competitive” school’s.
Shortened season but still too frequent of games.
No state tournament. It is like playing summer league, players don’t really care.
Most importantly, no community support. No students, no fans, no support. It feels like games are played behind closed doors. Like schools are trying to hide the events and don’t want anyone there. It’s like they take place in secret because they don’t want attention from the overlords.

It's not been ideal but for my senior they're very glad to at least get a partial season in. They had a senior event right away to make sure that happened and our school does allow home fans (students and parents only). The main complaint is playing the same teams over and over again. On a positive note for the unbalanced games the bench and younger players are getting a lot of PT.

the season would have been fine if the conferences had an actual tourney champ- not this tourney experience crap

in the FCIAC take the top 2 from each pod and then the next 2 best records and let them go at it for an actual champion ( 1 extra game for 2 teams)

With all the positive cases popping up around the state in high schools there is no reason to try to play any indoor sporting events

No kidding, how about playing for pride, how about playing to win every game, how about that? True athletes get this concept, the OP and his spawn clearly do not. Playing/competing on the field is way better than not.
