if youre going to do biobanding then just go back to the cut off date of 8/31 or something like that and not the birth year

Even abroad at pro clubs they make many mistakes 2) coaches/teams need to not always place winning over development. in Europe there are a billion kids who play soccer- they go to a club where they tell you just by placement where your kid stands ,it doesnt cost you an arm and a leg and unless you are really really good it doesnt cost you family life- and most are in your town or very close
the dream is to become a Pro

in the US- a billion kids play soccer and the clubs tell everyone they are on the road to free college- that the dream in the states ROI- it costs more, you travel more and you spend less time family wise

why isn't bio banding used more here. It seems like it makes sense with the kids that are split between years in middle school.

        Is it used here?

It is used for training at our club. It makes parents very confused. A really great reason I like it

Because the stupid parents think it is better for their pre-pubescent giants to feast on little kids 3 years developmentally behind. They think once ahead of the curve, always ahead of the curve and do not realize that early physical advantages impede real development in so many cases and that, when the physical advantages go away, their kid will be average sized with few to no skills.

Parents are a huge reason it isn't used here. They don't want to be told their kid needs to play with the slow or small group. They've no understanding of the game or what it takes to develop players, because few played the game themselves.

This describes FSA to a tee. Then in HS when sizebis a non factor they can't compete
