    These are the plusses:
    1) the coaches are very good and so is the training
    2) the league is challenging
    3) the facility is a good place to train, indoors and out
    4) the players range from decent to very good, a fee are excellent
    5) depending on your location, it actually could be a convenient drive

Outside of the academy and FSA, who has all that?

FSA is head and shoulders above CFCU. They swept the U last year

The drive is not convenient to any of the soccer hotbeds of Fairfield and Hartford counties

I am sorry that your fat blob of a son/daughter didn't make to the team. Next time leave your wife in the parking lot a little longer and she will score more points for next year.

Yes they can. They also can train indoors. Almost every other club has to scale winter practices way back. They have to pay a fortune for costly indoor time, and outdoor time is severely limited if they have it at all (you have to have access to turf and if there's snow most fields remain closed).

You must be with a competing club's management. No parent cares this much about a club they're not even with.

So do they plow the outdoor fields? I don’t think they do

It will take a few years for CFC boys to get going at a high level but they seem to be doing ok. They have very good coaches and a structured league so it will continue to get better.
Unless you are from Portland or Farmington travel time is irrelevant.

EDP 2nd division North would be challenging for CFC Boys ECNL and much more convenient and cheaper.

Yeah, 5 years after the FSA girls become competitive, CFCU boys ECNL teams will.

That is a crap league. If you are so lazy that you want everything on your doorstep your son should have stayed in travel. My kid enjoys the competition and new league. Definitely the new facility where if the weather is nice, they can decide last minute to go outside. Not an option at OW since outdoor and indoor are nowhere near each other. I know because my kid used to play there. And if you are training outdoors on plowed fields in 20 degree weather it’s only bc the indoor place is being rented to outside groups to make money. OW is a cheap bunch.
