you are all Aholes (assuming each posts was written by a different individual) how Fn miserable is your life that you would degrade an award given to an obviously righteous and deserving kid. you would give up your right nut to get it for your kid so you could feel important
Holy **** Stamford, UCLA? texas or cali-im sure they get their awards that we arent part of and good for them, but guess what this kid got ours and it says National
why cant people just be happy for other people and let it go at that
i give you 3 the" National Nattering Nabobs of Negativity" award-- but im sure there is a bigger bunch of Aholes in cali or texas that are far more deserving

Nice honor and good for her resume. St joesph university coach probably not happy she spurned him after the commit. Seems to be a pattern by yankee players. I think the yankee brain trust encourages thier top players to say yes to the first thing that comes along so they can say they have college placements. They probably tell them they can always trade up if another better college comes along.

personally i thought she played better last year and the year before but she just was awarded something great-why do people feel the need to piss on it- especially people, myself included who have never been close to being up for such an award

Isn’t that what the award is supposed to be for? She’s not even close. It just goes to show the politics involved. If people don’t want the criticism, they shouldn’t put players forward that don’t deserve it. Certainly not the kids fault, but cmon.
name someone better....
go ahead...I will wait...

PLAYER OF THE YEAR
ONE WINNER FROM EACH OF THE TWELVE SPORTS IS CHOSEN FROM EACH STATE AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA.
The Gatorade State Player of the Year award winners are evaluated and selected on the basis of three criteria:
Athletic Excellence - Standout performance in their respective sport made at the high school, club, national or international levels of competition.
Academic Achievement - Review of GPA and class rank, as well as SAT and ACT scores, and academic honors distinctions.
Exemplary Character - Commitment to sportsmanship, character and community through membership and participation in positive activities.
it seems every state as there are State winners and then national winners

PLAYER OF THE YEAR
ONE ATHLETE IN EACH OF THE TWELVE SPORTS IS CHOSEN OUT OF THE STATE WINNERS
After Gatorade State Player of the Year awards are announced, a Gatorade National Player of the Year is selected. Each sport’s pool of male and female state winners is evaluated further on the program’s three pillars – athletic excellence, academic achievement and exemplary character. The twelve national winners selected represent the nation’s best all-around high school student-athletes. Of the national winners, one male and one female is recognized as the Gatorade Athlete of the Year.
Like i said all the states--
