Even with the “top 7 DA teams” they would’ve given a good run.
Quarter finalists the year prior with the “top 7 DA teams” just losing 1-0 to Capital. State cup winners the following year, we’ll see how they do this year. I doubt they’d be last place behind all DA clubs this season, get real.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostSigh. Of course we got more. While you played the B team leftovers. we played the top competition in Oregon. We went to Regional Showcases and played against Top teams in the nation. You played against....Rogue Valley? ADF? Oh, and clubs apply for ECNL. My club has ECNL.
FC? Premier White is probably a more appropriate league next year.

SE coached Westside in the first half. This game was a far better game than last time WT played UPDX (final was 8-1). Game was tied until halfway through the first, then Westside got two quick goals (one from ML, one from HDN). 2-0 at halftime. In the second half, Steven had to leave and Cony took over; which is always more entertaining (for the parents, not so much for the kids). No goals were scored by either team in the second until stoppage time, when ML scored on a header at the far post. While it wasn't a diving header, Cony was a happy camper afterwards.
As the score indicates, WT was the stronger team, and generally had the better of possession, though United had a few promising attacks and did draw at least one save from WT's keeper. Unlike the first two games against United, Westside's defense kept a clean sheet in this one.
