Been out somebody asked why Military style weapon should be available to the public
The first line of the 2nd amendment answers the question
“A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”
A well-regulated militia
You need the Military Style weapons to be a deterrent to governmental powers looking to seize control,
It is sick how Dems, libs cheer mass shootings and always go for the guns. Mass shooting means to call for more gun control. Each time they feel they will get a little closer to their Ideal government solution.
I find it hard to believe that my fellow Americans will so easily give up their constitutionally protected rights for a little "government" security.
How many time does the government repeatedly have to fail to make people understand government is not the solution. If the "Government" safeguards and guidelines were followed Parkland was preventable.
Medicare, Medicaid, Hud, Welfare and hundreds of government programs have failed the people they are supposed to help. The government does not know best. It does not take a village to raise a child it takes a family.
What have the Libs and Dems done over the past few decades?
Removed God from the Schools
Removed Corporal Punishment
Removed Personal Responsibility
Removed the Pledge of Allegiance
Promoted Sex Education
Promoted Group Think
Started the Participation Trophy movement
The problem is not the NRA or "Military" Style semi-automatic Rifles it is the system. A system that turns everyone into a victim or discriminated group.
The best example is of the Lib Dem mindset is Sheriff Isreal's comments how is not responsible for his officer's actions. As long as Sheriff Isreal is an example of the Lib Dem mindset how can anyone support that agenda?
Never forget whenever any politician uses the statement "It is for the Children" run. Because they always have some hidden agenda you do not know about.

Trump flips on gun control?
Our President said this yesterday:
“I like taking the guns early,” he said, adding, “Take the guns first, go through due process second.”
“It would be so beautiful to have one bill that everyone could support,” Mr. Trump said as Senator Dianne Feinstein, Democrat of California and a longtime advocate of gun control, sat smiling to his left. “It’s time that a president stepped up.”
Mr. Trump’s comments during the hourlong meeting were at odds with his history as a candidate and president who has repeatedly declared his love for the Second Amendment and the N.R.A., which gave his campaign $30 million. At the group’s annual conference last year, Mr. Trump declared, “To the N.R.A., I can proudly say I will never, ever let you down.”

He's either lying to the NRA, or lying to the American people. I'm not sure he even understands this complex issue.

Trump agrees with gun control bill supported by Obama
Even the alt-right websites are reporting this:
http://www.breitbart.com/big-governm...ident-trump-2/
The Manchin/Toomey gun control bill is the same universal background check legislation supported by Barack Obama in the wake of the heinous attack on Sandy Hook Elementary School. It the very bill that was defeated in the Democrat-controlled Senate on April 17, 2013.
Trump spoke of the using the Manchin/Toomey bill “as a base” to which other gun bills can be added, and then continued taking comments from various senators and representatives in attendance.

He's either lying to the NRA, or lying to the American people. I'm not sure he even understands this complex issue.
"The gun control performance on Wednesday was reminiscent of a similar televised discussion with lawmakers about immigration in January during which the president appeared to back bipartisan legislation to help young immigrants brought to the country illegally as children — only to reverse himself and push a hard-line approach that helped scuttle consensus in the Senate."
He's lying to the American people to appease the outrage over the Parkland shootings. He'll work behind the scenes to undermine any progress, then blame others for killing the bill. After the outrage dies down he'll revert back to his NRA love.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostActually, its only sick how conservative politicians collectively take over fifty million dollars a year from the gun manufacturers to keep semi-automatic military style rifles legal for all while children are murdered. The shooters at parkland and at stonybrook should have never been in possession of these weapons. There are tons of people out there who have access to these weapons when they should not. As long as that is the case people will blame modern child raising techniques but they ignore the fact that no one had access to A-R 15s back in the good old days.
Here are some facts for you
About 150 people are killed by long Rifles (AR 15) each year. Including adults and mass shootings
Parental neglect and abuse account for 80% of all child deaths (1,274) You try and tell me that Parental Technique is not a more pressing issue.
1,446 children die per year in transportation accidents. How about driver education?
Mass shootings are horrible but emotional reactions do not solve the problems they remove freedoms.

Removed God from the Schools: It was never in schools to begin with. Separation of church and state. Send your kid to parochial school if you don't like it
Removed Corporal Punishment = child abuse, but if parents want to spank their kids they are free to do so at home
Removed Personal Responsibility: that is parent led. Parents coddle their kids too much
Removed the Pledge of Allegiance: numbnuts it is still there
Promoted Sex Education: and helped reduce rates of teen pregnancy and stds in the process
Promoted Group Think: *** does that mean
Started the Participation Trophy movement: that's promoted by parents; schools, coaches, leagues just give parents what they wantOriginally posted by Unregistered View PostThe best example is of the Lib Dem mindset is Sheriff Isreal's comments how is not responsible for his officer's actions.
