OW ? What say you ? Girls DA is the biggest waste of time and money. You are better off playing in National League and do the big events for recruiting.
National league does CASL, Disney and Las Vegas. Throw in Jefferson Cup and you are set.

18’s lost their best guy? Who is that? 17’s comment is funny. You’re partially right. Those parents do whine (I’m a parent on another CFC team), and a louder, more clueless group of parents you’ll never find. The team just isn’t that good. Two great players and a GK. The rest are good, solid, role players, so I’m guessing the coaches must be doing something right. 16’s coach fell asleep in Texas? Huh? The guy never shut up, but there’s a new coach now and kids seem to really like him. CFC isn’t perfect, but it’s easily the best choice in CT. I would say something about OW, but truthfully, I don’t know a single coach or player over there. And I guess that’s part of the problem. If a tree falls in the woods and there’s no one there to hear it, does it make a sound?

U15s lost 2 to top teams and tied a 13th place team 0-0. They have yet to score a goal all season
U16s Lost all 3 to two mid-level teams and one in last place. Three goals all season
U17s 2 wins, one against a last place team, one against a mid level. They tied a team in 10th place. really the only decent team in addition to the U14s

They probably started the bottom of their roster and played those kids heavily in this game so they could play their better players against better competition. Those bottom of the roster kids have a tough time beating 11 in the box.

Why does it matter to you if it's not your time and money?

As 16's and 17's are supposedly the most looked after age group than these should be the strongest teams at every club. getting the kids ready for the schools showing up at games etc etc. That is intention of every club. Some clubs around the county do bring new kids in just at these ages as they may have more pull and want to show off with the best teams. Best teams get more schools to come and more connections are made.

If we are looking at FSA and CFC right now who has the edge of schools showing up for games and watching?

As for head to head seems everyone has their own opinions but what do the results say?

CFC 16's has some talent but need to put it together. FSA seems to be in a rut as no wins no goals. Supposedly have a great coach in EF.

CFC 17's have a few direct impact players as mentioned in a previous post. 2 field players and their GK get you a long way. The supporting cast is also made up of good hard working players. There is very little drop off. FSA has a couple of very good players but the supporting cast is where that drop off begins. Allowing 3 4 5 goals a game does not help either.

You say that like that’s a bad thing? You’ll actually find the same at most clubs. Top kids head to power 5 schools and the rest to mid majors. Same thing happens at PDA or Stars believe it or not.
